Maple Glazed Cookies

Posted on March 28, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple guide for making Maple-Glazed Cookies — soft, slightly sweet, with a rich maple flavor:

🍪 Ingredients

For the Cookies

  • 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup (150 g) brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups (315 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Maple Glaze

  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1–2 tsp milk (optional, to thin glaze)

🥘 Instructions

1. Make the Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, mix until smooth.
  4. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in another bowl.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  6. Shape cookies: Scoop or roll dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.

2. Make the Maple Glaze

  1. Mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
  2. Add milk gradually if the glaze is too thick.
  3. Drizzle or spread glaze over cooled cookies.
  4. Let glaze set before serving (~30 minutes).

✅ Tips

  • For extra flavor, add ½ tsp cinnamon or nutmeg to the dough.
  • You can dip half the cookie in glaze instead of drizzling for a decorative look.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3–4 days.
